Whoa! I don't even want to check when was the last time I posted here. But I definitely have a good excuse for that. After all, 100% for an HND2 does require some effort, focus and preparation ;) So that is me, my Fashion Technology course is finished and it is a time to start real adult life. I am not an eternal student after all, although a part-time Printed Textiles course sounds very tempting...
So, what is an adult person who finished college doing? Of course, applying for jobs and... making clasp frame bags, yay!
Below there is an example of my first-ever clasp frame bag. Not very happy with the pattern, I already altered it two times. But look at that fabric! All the holiday memories! This is actually my very own photo, taken in the Cactus Garden in Lanzarote, printed on cotton drill fabric and laminated with Vilene Lamifix film. More prints are coming soon, new fabrics are waiting. I love the idea of combining two of my hobbies: photography and textiles. This particular piece was printed at Centre for Advanced Textiles in Glasgow School of Art.

As you can see, this 16cm clasp frame is sewn on and I covered the stitch with some matching red beads. It is a bit of a time-consuming method. Therefore, in the future, I will try to use glue in frames.
Of course I wouldn't be myself if I didn't share one of my favourite photos from the HND fashion show. Some of you might have seen it already on my Facebook page.
P.S. This photo is evidence that I was a rabbit in my previous life. Or am I preparing to be a bunny in a future one? :P
