Whoop, whoop, hooray - or, like I should say in Scottish, Ya Dancer! Of course not to mention Polish 'Hura!'. I won! Not the first prize but one of extra six prizes. However, I am still very happy about that. I took part in the 'On Tour' competition run by Beads Direct, an on-line source of beads and jewellery supplies. My project was featured and a few days ago I received a prize hamper (in the photo below). More and more beads joined my collection :)
Another thing that I would like to share with you is a fact that I joined VEGAN PACKAGE SWAP and my first parcel full of vegan goodies will go to Argentina. If you are not familiar with the idea of swapping vegan goodies, go quickly to the website, read, register yourself and have fun :) Moreover, today I received an email informing me that I was 'the lucky winner from the UK who won a t-shirt from Blood Tight Apparel in an exclusive giveaway for September Vegan Package Swap.' Isn't it great? Once I receive it, I'll share a photo.
Oh, and recently I had a couple of craft fairs and my wee stall looked like this:
|Little Birds Market in Glasgow|
Purple Reign Earrings
As a central point for those earrings, I used a Czech glass crystal and framed it with glass beads and soutache.
Sour Cherries Earrings
Those earrings are in very bright and optimistic colours and I think they would look great with my Folk Collar.
So that is everything for today. My homework is waiting for me, so I'd better start typing about properties of different fibers. A lot of new vocabulary that you don't learn on an ordinary language course ;-)
